Memorial Day Ride

The weather has been unbelievable in Seattle since the middle of May, so we took advantage of the long weekend by borrowing some bikes for a long ride on Memorial Day. We rode from Dominic's house all the way downtown and across the sound in the West Seattle Water Taxi (which is almost the same price as the Metro bus) for a day along Alki beach and Lincoln Park.

Look at that view! It only takes about 15 minutes to get to West Seattle on the water.

Once it arrives, the taxi is by far the most enjoyable route across town. Talk about a great commute!
